Illinois Grade School Music Association (IGSMA) Solo & Ensemble Contest allows students the opportunity to rehearse and perform a solo (7th or 8th grade) or small group ensemble piece (All grades). Singers will rehearse their pieces independently and receive some musical guidance from the director during after-school practice sessions. Singers will receive scores and feedback from a clinician at the contest. There is no audition for Solo/Ensemble. Sign ups will occur in November.
