How your Child's Math Grades are Determined.
This grade-specific parent road map explains what your child will be studying in the coming year and shares strategies that you can employ to facilitate learning outside of the classroom. This road map is a great way to begin bridging the gap between the way math was once taught and today’s techniques.
To help parents address questions children may have about Eureka Math at home, Tip Sheets are provided for each topic in each unit. Tip sheets provide an overview of the topics and include suggested strategies and models, key vocabulary, connections to previous learning, and tips for how you can support your child’s learning at home. Tip Sheets are arranged in the same Unit Sequence as the student homework, making it easy for parents to follow along with their child’s progress.

Homework Helpers provide step-by-step explanations of how (and why!) to work problems similar to those found in Eureka Math homework assignments. (They don’t provide answers to the assigned exercise, as we want the students to work the problems themselves.) There is a Homework Helper to go with every homework assignment in the curriculum, arranged in the same sequence as the student homework, making it easy for parents to follow along with their child's progress.
