Information about the Reading Support Program at Still from our Reading Specialists, Mrs. Kime & Mrs. Kollias:
Recommendations are made by the elementary school staff for students who have been receiving reading interventions in 5th grade at their elementary school – from a Reading Improvement teacher, a classroom teacher, or from a support teacher
Parents will receive a letter from their elementary school before the end of the school year if their student will be placed in Strategic Reading for the upcoming year
Replaces an Encore class in the schedule, does not affect their CORE class schedule
Teachers can recommend students throughout the school year based on classroom performance and assessment data
