Call for Abstracts for 3rd Inter-University Undergraduate Urban Seminar
After the previous two successful editions, the Department of Sociology, Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi invites abstracts for the third edition of the Inter-University Undergraduate Urban Seminar to be held on 2nd February 2023. The theme of this year's seminar is "The City and the Margins". We invite undergraduate student proposals aimed at interrogating the various dimensions of the theme.

Notice - Display of IA Data, Sem-V
The new academic block will be used for the Semester-V/III examination that will begin from 30 November 2022. Any classes of Semester-I that were assigned in these blocks now have new room allocations. Please find enclosed the Semester-I timetables incorporating the changes in these room numbers. Technology has become an inseparable entity in each of our lives, and it has also impacted processes previously thought to be the domain of biology alone. Hypatia: The Academic Society of the Department of Sociology, IPCW takes immense pleasure in announcing a lecture series on the theme: ‘Gender & Technology’. The series will commence on 9th September 2022 with a lecture by Dr. Paro Mishra, Assistant Professor, Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIITD), at 11:30 am on 'Femtech and the Datafication of the Reproductive Body in India: Emerging Issues and Concerns'. The venue for the same will be the Conference Room, IPCW.
