Quality is a Journey. It is a State of Becoming, punctuated by its moments of Pause, Reflect, Plan, Move and Review. The Dynamism of the Process is Reflected and Captured in those moments, showing Peaks and Dips rather than a flat curve. The Quest for Quality is an Unending Process and Indraprastha College for Women is Committed to it as a Higher Education Institution.
Introduction
The College has an active IQAC with a dedicated space for its meetings and archives. All activities of the College are held under the aegis of the IQAC. The IQAC works towards the Quality Statement of the College, which is enunciated in the Preamble.
The Vision and Mission of the College are the coordinates of the institutional goals. Vision and Mission
Following the 1st cycle of accreditation by the NAAC, the mandated IQAC was constituted. Since internal quality touches all units and aspects of operationalization of the College as a Higher Education Institution, an extended internal IQAC has been envisaged with representatives across the spectrum of the core units of the College. The mandatory IQAC (Core Committee) has been constituted with representation of the Governing Body, the peer community, alumna, parent and student, and is an extension of the Internal IQAC. The Internal IQAC meetings have been envisaged on a frequency that will enable reporting, stock-taking, roadmap and course-correction in a time bound manner, towards enhancement of both internal quality and its standards. The Core Committee will have quarterly meetings as mandated.
