A Talk on the topic, Human Environments: Past and Present was delivered by Professor Mahesh Rangarajan (Director, Nehru Memorial Museum & Library) on 29th August, 2014. The talk was delivered in the college auditorium to the students from different batches as part of their Environmental Studies curriculum.
Prof. Rangarajan began with an introduction to environmental history of India and the world and highlighted the organic connection our forefathers had with nature and natural resources. He also highlighted the need for teaching Environmental Studies to the student community and motivated the students to take responsibility for ensuring a clean and safe environment.
The Talk concluded with a Question & Answer session and the interactive session gave the students an opportunity to present their thoughts and get their queries and doubts clarified.
