Mr. Akash Verma completed his Master's in Environmental Studies in 2013 from the Department of Environmental Studies, University of Delhi and his B.Tech. from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India. He also holds a Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Organisation from the British School in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Prior to joining IP College, he was a Research Assistant at the Center for Ecological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore researching on marine turtle ecology.

Mr. Verma has a good understanding of the social complexities of environmental issues along with comprehensive scientific knowledge of the subject. His areas of interest and expertise include Ecology, Conservation and Sustainability. Mr. Verma is well connected within the environmental research community in India and abroad.
