Dr. Govind Singh completed his Ph.D. in 2013 from the Department of Environmental Studies, University of Delhi. Prior to this, he completed his Master's in Environmental Studies from the same institution in 2007. Before joining IP College, Dr. Singh was associated with the Cluster Innovation Centre, University of Delhi as Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies & Management.

Dr. Singh's areas of interest and expertise include Environmental Management, Environmental Pollution & Public Health, Environmental Education, Urban Ecology and Sustainable Development. He is also associated with several national and international organisations working to protect and preserve 'our common environment'.
