The Rec is the primary space for active campus life, the center features extensive cardio and strength floors, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, group fitness studios, racquetball and basketball courts, and an Esports Living Lab. Beyond traditional workout areas, it supports student well-being through intramural and club sports, personal training, outdoor equipment rentals, bike maintenance, and guided adventure trips.
The SOS office at USF Tampa provides direct care management to help students manage stress affecting their academic performance and overall wellness. SOS Coordinators meet individually with students to evaluate needs, assess potential risks, and foster self-advocacy skills. Together, they create tailored action plans that connect students to campus referrals, letters of support, and direct communication with professors.

While there are many options on-campus to help, often you are the first line of support for your friends. Those small talks, playing the game, hitting the gym, or getting some lunch are all things that can make a positive impact on our overall health.
Do not be afraid to seek help. It is like a hint in a game or a spot in the gym. You still are doing the work that you set out to do, but if something happens, you have someone there to help lift the weight or guide you through your troubles.
