Solder all of the through-hole components listed in the BOM onto the power supply PCB. Image on the left shows a finished board with all of the components except the LCD display. Mounting the LCD display is described below.
Assembly takes approximately 30-60 mins, depending on soldering experience. Instructables have lots of great soldering tutorials and resources for the beginner or if you need a refresher. Mount the display onto the PCB using the two 1/4" long screws and two nuts to secure the display.
With wire clippers, cut the 3 display wires to approx. 35-40 mm long. Strip and tin the ends.
Connect the wires to the 3-pin screw terminal header as shown in the image opposite.
