ION Community Mission
Collaborate with local and global partners to expand awareness and acceptance of neurodiversity across the Philippines.
By fostering education, advocacy, and inclusive community efforts, we work to build a society that values and supports neurodivergent individuals, creating pathways for greater understanding and positive change.
Bring together neurodivergent individuals and supportive networks to promote neuroinclusion across healthcare, employment, education, and beyond.
By uniting advocates and allies, we drive awareness and encourage inclusive practices in areas where neurodiversity acceptance is still growing, building a stronger, more supportive environment for neurominorities in the Philippines.
Partner with charities, government agencies, businesses, academic institutions, and other organizations to foster neuroinclusion across the Philippines.
By working together, we promote policies and practices that support neurodivergent individuals, driving meaningful change in communities, workplaces, and educational institutions for a more inclusive society.
Support and publish research that incorporates lived experiences of neurodivergent individuals. We collaborate with institutions to ensure that neurodivergent individuals actively participate in shaping evidence-based policies. Through these partnerships, we work to create policies that reflect the unique perspectives and needs of neurominorities, fostering a more inclusive society.
Represent neurominorities, through lobbying and influencing efforts, alongside active participation in key webinars, conferences, and events that support our mission. We engage with stakeholders, policymakers, and thought leaders to drive neurodiversity inclusion in all sectors, including healthcare, education, and employment.
Through these platforms, we aim to raise awareness, share lived experiences, and advocate for systemic change, fostering a society where neurodivergent individuals are respected, supported, and empowered."
Celebrate everything neurodiverse through awards and events like UN World Autism Awareness Day and Neurodiversity Celebration Week. These occasions allow us to honor the achievements and contributions of neurodivergent individuals, raise awareness, and foster a deeper understanding of neurodiversity.
By celebrating these milestones, we strive to create a world where neurodivergent individuals are recognized, valued, and empowered to thrive.
