Library Schedule

Grades K-3 visit the library once each cycle for an instructional lesson and to borrow books. Grades 4-6 are allowed to visit the library throughout the school day when given permission by their teachers, as well as before school, during recesses, and after school.

Daily schedule

7:15 am - 7:35 am Before School Borrowing

8:50 am - 9:10 am K Morning Recess (borrowing)

9:10 am - 9:30 am 1-3 Morning Recess (hang out)

10:10 am - 10:50 am 4-6 Morning Recess (hang out)

11:30 am - 11:50 am K-3 Lunch Recess (hang out)

11:50 am - 12:00 pm 4-6 Lunch Recess (hang out)

2:15 pm - 2:30 pm K-3 After School Borrowing

2:30 pm - 3:00 pm 4-6 After School Borrowing

Library Before School, After School, and Recess Times

The library is open to all students. Below are times that students are welcome to come to the Library to browse and borrow books and play games.

Before School: 7:15-7:35 am (borrow ONLY)
ALL Recess Times
After School: End of School Day - 3:00 pm (borrow ONLY)

Student Book Borrowing

Students will visit the library during Library Class time or when sent by a teacher.
Students are encouraged to use online library resources.
Kindergartners may check out one book at a time. Grades 1-2 may check out two books at a time. Students in grade 3 may check out three books at a time. When the book is returned, another may be borrowed. Students in grades 4-6 may check out 3 books at a time, but can borrow additional books for research/projects.
If a student has an overdue book, he/she may not borrow another until the overdue book is returned.
All lost books are paid for by students’ families.
