History of Broken Arrow Lacrosse

Founded to bring "the fastest game on two feet" to the Broken Arrow community, the Broken Arrow High School (BAHS) Lacrosse program was born out of the foundation laid by the Broken Arrow Youth Lacrosse organization within the Indian Nations Lacrosse Conference (INLC). What started as a dedicated effort to introduce the sport to local student-athletes has grown into a premier high school program in the state of Oklahoma.

Overcoming Early Challenges

The road to the top required persistence, grit, and unwavering dedication. In the program’s early years, the team faced steep competition and difficult learning curves, enduring a 0–49 streak. Through tireless effort from coaches, players, and supporting families, the program focused on skill development, team culture, and long-term growth.

The Turnaround & Championship Era.

The perseverance paid off as the Tigers began achieving historic milestones in rapid succession:

2022 — First Program Victory: BAHS secured its first Junior Varsity (JV) victory in program history, establishing momentum for the seasons ahead.
2023 — First Varsity Win: Building on JV success, the Tigers earned their landmark first Varsity victory.
2025 — First JV Championship: The program captured its first JV Championship title, showcasing the depth and future talent of Broken Arrow lacrosse.
2026 — Varsity State Champions: Capping an extraordinary journey from early struggles to state supremacy, Broken Arrow High School won the Oklahoma Varsity State Championship.

Is there an application process?

There is no application or tryout barrier to join our program family. Any student enrolled at Broken Arrow High School who brings enthusiasm, grit, and team spirit is welcome to play.
