We want to ensure that the Jury’s work can be visible and accessible to, political representatives with responsibility for or interest in the Carlingford Lough region, and that citizens know their efforts are being taken seriously.
In our letter, we extended the following invitations:
● an opportunity to send a note of encouragement or reflection for the Jury’s consideration - using this link or privately via email.
● An invitation to be named as a formal recipient of the Jury’s final recommendations, with responsibility for their consideration.
○ Giving consideration means committing to engage with the Jury’s recommendations in good faith: to read and reflect on them, discuss them within your organisation or network, and communicate how they will be taken forward or what barriers to action may exist.
○ If you wish to be included, please reply to this email to be added to the public list of formal recipients. We will ensure you receive the Jury’s final report directly and will follow up with you to agree an appropriate response.
The list below tracks the support we have received to date, and is updated regularly. If you would like to write to your political representatives to encourage them to respond to the citizens' conclusions, we have included contact emails also.
