cerro quitasol
Quitasol is the name of one of the most important natural hills of the Valley of Aburrá, in the department of Antioquia, Colombia. Thanks to its imposing view, it has become worthy of being the reason for the name of the festival of the municipality that inhabits, called "Fiestas del Cerro Quitasol".
The Cerro Quitasol is located in the North of the City of Bello, one of the ten localities of the Metropolitan Area of Medellín. It is the most imposing of the tutelary hills of the valley.
Quitasol (as it is commonly known among the bellanites) hides the indigenous path of the Cacique Niquía community. On the slopes of Cerro are traces of an ancient civilization that possessed engineering knowledge. This allowed them to devise and build a route whose history lies in the midst of the mystery: the stone path of the boring Niquia.

Start place Metro station in the morning time 8 am, break 11 am Peak La Verruga, Cima 1 pm, contact with the environment descent at 4 to 6 pm.
