Founder & Therapist, Intrusive Thoughts License: South Carolina (18628)
I’m Angel, a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in trauma, depression, anxiety, and the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals, people living with HIV, and racial minorities. My work is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and a deep respect for the dignity and worth of every person.
I became a therapist in a very human way — by accident and curiosity. A single psychology class in undergrad shifted my path from photography to sociology and psychology, eventually leading me to pursue my masters in social work. Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people heal from trauma and reclaim their sense of self.
A bit about me as a person

My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported. A space where therapy feels less like a doctor’s appointment and more like a grounded, honest conversation with someone who genuinely cares.
