Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) is the National Health Preprofessional Honor Society. The RPI Pre-Health Honors Society is a member chapter of AED. We are dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in scholarship pertaining to the health profession and medical sciences. Membership Requirements
All majors are welcome to join. Potential members must have completed at least 3 semesters of health preprofessional studies work; this can include introductory biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics courses, as well as more advanced courses in biology including anatomy & physiology, microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology.
Potential members must have an overall GPA of at least 3.20 and a cumulative GPA of 3.20 in the sciences – this is the cumulative GPA for biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics courses (engineering is not included). Ask your advisor for help determining your cumulative GPA in the sciences.
Completed membership applications must be submitted to the RPI AED chapter president by March 1st 2025 .
