Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1:- Arrival in Leh and check in the guest house - Altitude 11,400 ft. Stay will be in Guest House - Leh (3500 m)

Things to Carry for Chadar Trek 2020

* Carry 2 pair of synthetic track pants. Track pants are light and when the environment get cold

you can wear one track pant over the other.

* Carry 2 Full sleeve tees with collar.

* Fleece jacket - sweaters are highly discouraged.

* A full sleeve Down jacket.

* Carry 4 pairs of undergarments.

* Get 2 pairs of thermal inners. (Lower and Upper Body)

* Gumboots, you can purchase it from Leh for 400-500 INR.

* Carry 2 pairs of sports socks. 4 pairs of woollen socks.

* Woollen monkey cap/balaclava that cover the ear.

* Woollen hand gloves + synthetic glove (water proof).

* Hot water bag/bottle - available at any medical store nearby.

* Sunglasses, branded company with 100% UV protection. Curved ones will cover

your eyes well. Sunglasses prevent snow blindness. Sunglasses are mandatory for

this trek.

* Gumboots, if not purchased from Leh.

* Bag-pack (55 - 65 L) with durable lashes and supporting casing. Day-pack (20 L) is required just on the off chance that you wish to offload your Bag-pack to our help group. The Big No

* JEANS OR DENIM – not suited for this trek.

* Snacks, colas, alcohol, and personal food –

No need to overburden yourself with food. Avoid disposable plastic bottles like (Bisleri, Aquafina), plastic wrapped/packaged items.

Do not bring any non-bio degradable material.

* After packing, weigh your gear. It should be in the range of 8-10 kg preferably on the lighter side. Anything heavier, you will need to iterate and remove all the things which are not essential.

* Carry light and what is essential. example, carry small size toothpaste(that can last you 10 days).

* Basic advice about clothing: To protect yourself from cold and diseases, dressing in layers is the mantra. Two T-shirts worn one over the other is warmer than a Tshirt that is thick.

If you are prone to cold carry extra warmer or warm clothes. Along with this list, do not forget to carry the following documents:

* An identification card (like voters ID card, driving license, etc), along with a photocopy of the document. A passport size photo.

* A medical certificate Format will be sent after confirmation.

* Disclaimer certificate. The format will be sent after confirmation.

2. Pricing and Variants

Rs.21,500/- excluding Trekking Pole, Gum Boots, Down jacket & airport Transfers.

Rs.24,500/- including Trekking Pole, Gum Boots, Down jacket & airport Transfers. +5% GST on Both the varients Environmental Fee, Wildlife Fee, ALTOA, LAHDC Permits are not included which will cost 3200 INR per Person. Medical Insurance which 2200 INR is excluded.

3. Booking and Cancellation

All the booking cancelled before 15-December 2019 are eligible for 50% refund. There will not be any refund applicable for new bookings and existing bookings after 15th-December 2019.
