The theme for this anthology is TRUTH. Show us your truth, whatever that means to you. Speak to the biggest audience you can comprehend or straight into a void. Cast pebbles in a pond or rose petals off a skyscraper. What moments are so raw and real they can only be described as true?

Submission Guidelines
We are open for submissions of any kind of writing or art under the theme of TRUTH. Please see below for genre-specific instructions.
Poetry

We will accept up to 10 pages of single poems, 2-3 poetic sequences, or a combination of both
Hybrid
Hybrid
We will accept 1-3 hybrid pieces given that they are more writing than any other art (this definition is up to the writer's discretion) and that their publication doesn't require a digital/web host, sound, etc., as the anthology may be published in print. We consider hybrid work to be experimental, genre-defying, unclassifiable, or work that is otherwise engaging with hybrid writing and media. Prose poetry should be submitted to poetry.

We will accept a maximum 3 pieces of prose (including flash, short fiction, and creative nonfiction) with a 2,000 maximum word count per piece
Visual Art
Visual Art
We will accept up to 10 pieces of visual art in any file format that is compatible with the submission manager, given that their publication doesn't require a digital/web host, sound, motion, etc. Please note that submitting visual art means it may also be considered for cover art.

We unfortunately cannot accept previously published work.
We will accept simultaneous submissions given that you notify us & withdraw a piece should it be accepted elsewhere.
We will accept one submission per genre per person.
Submissions that contain any racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, or otherwise bigoted content will not be considered.
We do not accept work that has been created or assisted by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
If a submission has been found to be in violation of any policies, editors reserve the right to disqualify that or any submission by that author.
At this time, our submission manager can handle the following file types for hybrid and visual art submissions: Document, Presentation, Spreadsheet, (Google) Drawing, PDF, and Image. Please email us at youngwritersforda@gmail.com if this is an issue.

We will accept writing and art via Google Form only. Submissions sent by email will not be read.
Please include a short third person bio and optional cover letter with your submission. If you are associated with the WDA please include that in your cover letter.
