Loose-fill Insulation

Loose-fill insulation: Loose-fill insulation is a type of insulation that is made up of small particles that can be blown into walls, attics, and other spaces. It is available in a variety of materials, including cellulose, fiberglass, and mineral wool. 

Loose-fill insulation is a good choice for a variety of applications, including: Attics, Walls, Ceilings, Floors, Crawlspaces, Basements, Pipes, Ducts.

Blanket insulation

Blanket insulation: Blanket insulation is a type of insulation that is made up of a continuous sheet of material. It is available in a variety of materials, including fiberglass, mineral wool, and cellulose.

Blanket insulation is a good choice for a variety of applications, including: Attics, Walls, Ceilings, Floors, Crawlspaces, Basements, Pipes, Ducts.

Rigid insulation

Rigid insulation: Rigid board insulation is a type of insulation that is made up of a solid material. It is available in a variety of materials, including polystyrene, polyurethane, and polyisocyanurate. Rigid board insulation is a good choice for a variety of applications, including: 


Foundation walls, Basement walls, Crawlspaces, Roofs, Ceilings, Floors, Pipes, Ducts.

~~ Commonly used insulation in the Ceilings/Partitions ~~

Insulation to Partitions Metal/Timber: Insulation for internal partition is installed between stud center-to-center cavities that are 600 mm or 400 mm.

Type of Partitions Metal/Timber:

  • Internal Partitions

  • Communal Partition

  • Shaft/Riser Partition

  • Sacrificial Lining

  • Party Walls

  • External Wall

Where to Install:

  • Between Stud Cavities

Product Used:

  • Isover APR 1200 Mineral Wool

  • Rockwool RWA Series Insulation

  • Kingspan K Series Insulation Board for Thermal Linings

Insulation to Ceiling Void: Insulation to ceiling is installed between ceiling void to provide soundproofing and fireproofing.

Type of Ceiling:

  • MF Grid Ceiling

  • Timber Deck Ceiling

  • Metal Deck Ceiling

  • Concrete Deck Ceiling

Where to Install:

  • Between Ceiling Void

Product Used:
