Ceilings

Overview

Ceiling is the upper surface of a room/hall. Ceiling is a decorative element of a building which is forming with a variety of the materials.

Ceiling can create a void from 150 mm to 1000 mm between the ceiling finish level from the concrete slab. Which can be used to hide mechanical and electrical services.

There are many type of ceilings are used in drylining construction for example Flat ceiling/dormer ceiling/bay window ceiling/sloping ceiling etc.

Type of Ceilings

Acoustic ceilings are designed to absorb sound, which can help to reduce noise levels in the corridor. They are made from materials such as mineral wool, perforated metal, or acoustic tiles. Acoustic ceilings can be a good option for corridors that are used by a lot of people, such as in apartment buildings or hotels.

Acoustic fire rated ceiling is a type of ceiling that is designed to provide both acoustic and fire protection. These ceilings are typically made from materials that are resistant to fire, such as gypsum board or mineral wool. They also often have a perforated surface, which helps to absorb sound waves.

Suspended ceilings are made up of a grid of metal or wood beams that support a layer of gypsum board or other material. Suspended ceilings can be used to hide pipes, wires, and other unsightly elements in the corridor. They can also be used to create a more dramatic or decorative effect.
