These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Interface Network I.T Security (“we,” “our,” or “us”) and our clients. They are designed to set clear expectations, protect both parties, and ensure that all services are delivered in a professional, safe, and transparent manner.
Services provided by Interface Network I.T Security (“Interface Network I.T”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) are limited to those outlined in the applicable estimate, work order, or invoice.
Any additional or unforeseen services identified during installation will be subject to Section 4 (Additional Charges).
No verbal agreements or assumptions will alter the scope of work unless confirmed in writing by both parties.
Labour Warranty: All installation labour is covered by a limited one-year warranty from the completion date. This covers defects in workmanship only.
Exclusions: Warranty does not cover products supplied by others, misuse, neglect, operator error, vandalism, power surges, or “Acts of God.”
Products Supplied by Us: Products purchased through Interface Network I.T are subject to manufacturer warranties. We will facilitate claims, but a nominal fee applies for removal/reinstallation.
Void Conditions: Any modifications to our installation or unpaid invoices will void warranties.
Products: Payment in full is required before installation begins.
Labour: Payment is due within 30 days of completion.
Late Payments: Balances not paid on time will accrue interest at 2% per month (24% annually) in line with the Ontario Courts of Justice Act, plus any administrative/collection costs.
Payment Methods: Credit card, e-transfer, or certified cheque. Personal cheques must clear before materials are ordered.
Authorization: By accepting an invoice, you authorize Interface Network I.T to charge your chosen payment method for all approved charges.
If work beyond the original scope is requested (extra cabling, drilling, hardware relocation, etc.), additional charges will apply.
Approval must be given by the client before such work begins, either in writing, verbally on site, or electronically.
Additional charges are payable upon completion of the extra work.
Clients must ensure an active internet connection is in place before installation where required.
Clients are responsible for clearing and preparing the workspace. Our technicians are not responsible for moving or protecting valuables, furniture, or personal items.
A person 18 years or older must be present during installation to authorize and approve completed work.
Unless stated otherwise in the estimate or invoice, installation does not include accessories (wire, mounts, brackets, speakers, etc.).
Service may be declined if unsafe, unsanitary, or hazardous conditions exist, or if building code violations prevent proper installation.
We are not responsible for repairing or restoring walls, ceilings, floors, or other building finishes impacted during installation or uninstallation.
Special Materials Disclaimer: For plaster, concrete, or other fragile materials, while reasonable care will be taken, we cannot guarantee damage-free installation. Repairs and finishing remain the client’s responsibility.
Except for direct property damage, bodily injury, or death caused by our negligence, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits, downtime, or loss of data).
By hiring Interface Network I.T, you release us from claims related to expected property alterations (drilling, mounting, routing cables).
Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid for the services in question.
If subcontractors are engaged, Interface Network I.T is not responsible for damages caused solely by their independent negligence.
Installation service fees are non-refundable once services are performed.
Products purchased through Interface Network I.T may be subject to the manufacturer’s return policy. Restocking fees or shipping costs are the responsibility of the client.
We collect limited personal information (name, address, email, phone, project details) to provide quotes, schedule services, issue invoices, and process warranties.
Information is handled in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Ontario privacy laws.
We do not sell or share your information except as required by law or for warranty purposes.
You may request corrections or deletion of your information at any time by contacting us.
Clients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a booked appointment.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a fee equal to the greater of $150 or 20% of scheduled labour cost.
Interface Network I.T reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to illness, emergencies, supply delays, or severe weather.
Notices may be delivered via email, physical mail, or by posting on our website.
Clients are responsible for keeping their contact details up to date.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable Canadian laws.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in Ontario courts.
Both parties waive the right to a jury trial to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Any claim must be filed within one (1) year from the date the issue arises.
These Terms & Conditions, together with your estimate or invoice, form the complete agreement.
No verbal agreements, prior dealings, or trade practices shall alter these terms.
If any provision is deemed invalid, all other terms remain enforceable.
Interface Network I.T may assign rights and obligations under this Agreement without prior notice.
