Privacy Policy — Timesheet Helper
Last updated: July 2026
Timesheet Helper is a browser extension that helps a user fill their own internal timesheet using their own Harvest time-tracking data.
Data the extension handles
- Personally identifiable information: name, UID, and location/address, entered by the user in the invoice settings. Used only to generate an invoice summary that the user copies themselves.
- Authentication information: the user's Harvest personal access token and account ID, entered by the user. Used only to authenticate requests to the user's own Harvest account.
- Timesheet settings: start time, per-weekday location/project/task defaults, and hourly rate, entered by the user.
Where the data goes
- All of the above is stored locally in the user's own browser (chrome.storage.local). It never leaves the user's device, with one exception: the Harvest token and account ID are sent only to the Harvest API (api.harvestapp.com) to retrieve the user's own time entries.
- No data is sent to the extension's developer, to any server we control, or to any third party. We do not collect, receive, store, sell, or transfer any user data.
What the extension does not do
- It does not track browsing activity or web history.
- It does not use analytics or advertising.
- It does not transmit any personal or authentication data to the developer.
- It does not submit the timesheet or send any email automatically. The user reviews and submits or sends everything themselves.
Data sharing
- We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties.
- We do not use or transfer user data for any purpose unrelated to the extension's single purpose.
- We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
