First Math Tournament!

On April 25th, 2026, we held our first middle math tournament in collaboration with the Alabama Youth Math Club! Together, we hosted more than 180+ participants at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (shoutout Alyssa for your help on-site)!

INTEGIRLS wrote the tournament's team (INTEGIRLS Central) and countdown (INTEGIRLS AL) rounds. On tournament day, we recognized the top three female participants per division with cash prizes. Moreover, we had the opportunity to share our mission and promote leadership and membership openings for the upcoming year.

We hope that everyone enjoyed this tournament as much as we did!

Help us write problems!

The Alabama Youth Math Club and INTEGIRLS AL are asking for your help in writing math questions for our 2026 spring tournament's Countdown Round, a fast-paced event similar to jeopardy and science bowl contests. Write your problems, receive service hours, and be recognized as a contributor and writer during the event! Any high school student is eligible to submit.

First Seminar: Volunteering!

Tuesday, November 18th, 7:00 PM
Our first seminar went really well! Our seven wonderful speakers each introduced their specific program or organization, and in the Q&A section, they answered some questions and shared more of their experiences and opinions.
A big thing that we wanted to emphasize was that volunteering is so much more than the hours: you should choose to volunteer somewhere that matches your own passions and interests! That way, you'll gain important skills, learn a lot, use it for future opportunities, and have fun too!
