Our Mission:

A nonprofit bridging the gender gap in competitive problem-solving

This world has countless young minds that are passionate about mathematics and problem-solving. With lots of hard work and a little bit of luck, some of them have had opportunities to not only further their learning but to also be part of incredible communities. Our members can attest to the power of being a part of these, whether it's a school math team, a camp, or a national convention.

However, not everyone has this access. Just one of these barriers pertain to gender, as seen in competitions where girls are overwhelmingly the minority. This is where INTEGIRLS comes in; we want to provide a place for girls to explore and love math. Here in the Alabama Chapter, we hope to expand these opportunities to the southeast, another underrepresented population in math. Join us on our mission to foster a place for girls to learn, connect, and grow as young mathematicians.
