CADAVER LAB IN-PERSON
CADAVER LAB IN-PERSON
For participants opting for the 3-day course, on September 28th, we will have hands-on practice in a cadaver lab model with techniques including anterior arthroscopy, posterior arthroscopy, tendoscopy, Haglund's deformity, subtalar arthrodesis, among others. Each station will accommodate 2 students, and there are limited spots available.
You can participate in this course with or without the practical part in the Cadaver Lab.
Come and discuss the latest concepts in foot and ankle, stay updated on the state of the art in diagnosis and treatment, learn tips & tricks of surgical techniques, observe live surgery, and, if desired, have the option to practice in the Cadaver Lab.

Prof. Dr. C. Niek van Dijk
He is a renowned surgeon specializing in ankle arthroscopic surgery and the founder of the Amsterdam Foot & Ankle School. His innovative surgical techniques have benefited high-level athletes and patients with ankle problems. Currently, he works at the FIFA Medical Centers of Excellence in Madrid and Porto. With extensive experience as the Head of the Department of Orthopedics at the AMC Hospital, he is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Amsterdam. Niek van Dijk is recognized for his contributions in education, having initiated the first International Amsterdam Foot and Ankle Course and developed the Amsterdam Foot and Ankle Platform. His influence in the orthopedic field is evident as the president of renowned associations and as a mentor for doctoral students. With a vast academic output, he has published numerous articles and book chapters, and serves as an editor for prestigious publications. His commitment to excellence is demonstrated as one of the founders of JISAKOS, the official journal of ISAKOS
