Special Christmas Cards

Due to Covid-19, we have thought about a different idea to exchange Christmas cards. Our students are in secondary education and they have created cards with the canva app in which they have written their wishes and best thoughts to other European teenagers from Turkey, Romania and Poland.

Moreover, they have added some pictures about the typical dishes we eat on these important days when we gather up with our families and we enjoy delicious meals and conversations. They have also shown nice images of our traditions such as "Caga Tió", "Els reis mags d'Orient"... Some of them have also included popular Christmas carols of our country.

The main objectives of the project are the following:

• Learn about other European Christmas traditions.

• Improve our students' digital skills.

• Enrich their cultural knowledge.

• Foster respect to diversity.

• Learn some words in other languages.

As a result of our work, we have created this SITES in order to share our postcards with other European high schools and to observe, analyse, discuss and read about their traditions, dishes, Christmas decorations and to learn some words in their mother tongue.
