What did I do?
For my Doctor Who soundtrack, I used a knocking on a door sample from Fesliyan Studios, and added various types of bass to make the sound unique. I also used the JX Chorus which added an a organ like sound to the melody of the track. Finally, I added the TARDIS sounds and lowered their volume so it hung around in the background, giving the soundtrack a spacey, alien effect.Β

This is my first music project so I learnt all the basics on how to use Ableton Live, how to use the pad, how to add samples and change their pitch, sound etc.

What did I do?
For this project, I used different samples from Ableton such as various drum beatsΒ and some not as common beats that had audio filters on them, a quote from a movie and some bass beats & mashed it together to create a Dilla style track.

I learnt how Dilla used various and extensive samples to make his successful music.
