I designed The Kozy Korner to be a place where people are able to enjoy themselves without feeling the pressure of a work environment and atmosphere. The Kozy Korner excels in creating separate spaces where people can do their own thing, but also spaces that work together as a whole, creating an interchanging network of music and method. I liked the idea of having the control room in the middle, as it reminded me of the space ship hub, a mainframe of sorts, where all central purpose and action can occur. I included many different areas in this studio as a way of having everything that was needed so there was no point in wasting time going elsewhere. The included furniture and hardware is top of the notch and contributes to an overall sense of knowledge and experience for anyone visiting. Overall, The Kozy Korner represents my beliefs of what a studio should be while also recognizing the advanced features needed for prime music production.
