Getting To Know Bandlab

What I did was create a simple drill beat using the instruments and presets in Bandlab as well as some other external audios. I learned how to get re accustomed to Bandlab and get back into the zone of regularly using this website to create wonderful pieces of music.

Pop Shove It

I mixed the five instruments in Pop Shove It so that each instrument is clear and audible. I began with panning and volume then added effects to improve the sound of each track. I learned how to properly mix a track and put my skills to the test which proved to be a bit of a challenge but I was very happy with then end result.

Fix The Mix

I've been sent ten tracks as the starter point for a video game soundtrack, and I to fix the mix and then remix the song to make it more exciting and interesting. First I chose good instruments for the MIDI tracks. Then mixed the tracks side-to-side , front-to-back and up-to-down. I also added some effects to polish each track. Finally I added some extra drum beats to my song and mixed appropriately to make the song sound really good. I learned how to turn okay pieces of music into really suspensful, intresting pieces of music.

Lofi mix

I created this lofi beat by using a combination of drums piano and a slight vinyl record effect. Throughout the process I learned how to make a piece of music that anyone can relax to. I also learned how to properly combine many elements that wouldnt properly fit together to actually make something quite intresting.

Hypnotic Art

What i did: I made 3 very different beats with different personalities that i deemed to fit each colorway the person chose. Each beat is unique in its own way and can be appreciated by a wide audience

What I learned: I learned that music is about utilizing more than just 1 sense and broadening into multiple different senses such as sight to give any user an amazing lasting experience that will make them want more.

 Dilla Type beat

In this beat I incorporated samples from the popular video game "Street Fighter" as well as a sample from the music video "Thriller" by Michael Jackson. I also sampled the old school videogame "Castlevania Aria of Sorrow." Using J Dilla's sampling style I was able to create a simple beat and enrich it with J Dilla's music style.

Blind Man Driving

I learned how to properly mix and master stems that need to be put together properly and i also learned how to use a newer version of FL studio that ive been wanting to try for a while now. What I did was take a bunch of stems, put them together and master them enough to make them sound decent.
