Mixing Music on Stage

I made music. I added loops and moved the music so it would pan back and forth, left to right, and up to down. I named my music Elsa because she is a character in Frozen.

I learned to make music. I learned music moves around in speakers to give the feel that the instruments were moving across the stage. I like music because music is fun.

I fixed the music and panned the music. I added loops. I added sound effects .

I learned sound effects. I learned more about loops. I learned how to fix the mix.

remix 1 in live

I remixed a sample with triggers in Live. I learned about making music with the new software and I liked learning about all the things we could do. I liked using the push to make music and the colors.

Eve Doctor Theme Song

We made music by reworking the Doctor Who theme song. We used soundbites from various sounds such as pigs in order to create a new song. We learned about the Doctor Who theme song and its history of production. We learned about Delia Derbyshire and the changes she made to music technology. Our version of this song was inspired by her original work. We also learned about sampling and how to use our own sounds in Ableton Live.

Dilla Style

I learned to make music. We made beats using samples just like Dilla. I used Ableton live in order to create loops and beats and then used the push to trigger these and make a song.
