Collaboration matters   Excellence in everything   Community first   Equity for everyone   Continuous growth

After another successful year of running the Inspire Partnership's Headteacher Network, we are really looking forward to continuing to collaborate with other colleagues across the education system to share learning, professionally nourish our desire to connect and support others to flourish within their schools.

Our aim for setting up the Network in 2021 was to give leaders the opportunity to share expertise, ideas and resources with others. Since the Network's launch, we have had the privilege of hosting school leaders from 21 schools across the UK who are intent on securing better outcomes for all pupils whilst developing a strong culture of evidence  informed practice within schools.

It has been fantastic to see our peers across the network connect and collaborate outside the sessions, with visits to each other's school setting and forming exemplification groups to support specific subjects within schools.

2022/23 Speakers

We hope to continue to strengthen and grow the network in the upcoming academic year and would welcome any enquiries from leaders who are interested in joining us.

For 2023/2024 we have already secured several passionate like-minded individuals who are devoted to transforming schools and the education and quality of teaching they provide.  In total we will be hosting 5 virtual sessions and 2 in person school visits during the course of your membership.

We are delighted to confirm that our first speaker, on Tuesday 3rd October 2023 will be Jean Gross CBE.

She was awarded a CBE in 2011 for services to education. Jean is the author of  numerous articles and best-selling books including her new book Reaching the Unseen Children - practical strategies for closing stubborn attainment gaps in disadvantaged groups.  You can read Jean Gross's biography here.

On Tuesday 5th December 2023 we are excited to confirm our guest speaker as Lucy Crehan.

Lucy Crehan is an education consultant and author. Lucy's book, following her research in six top-performing education systems, 'Cleverlands: The secrets behind the success of the world's education superpower', was one of the Economists' Books of the Year within one week of its release.

We are also pleased to confirm we will be joined by John Camp OBE to speak at the first session of 2024 on 30th January.

Square Pegs: Inclusivity, compassion and fitting in - a guide for schools - is written by Fran Morgan with Ellie Costello and is a book for educators who find themselves torn between a government / Ofsted narrative around behaviour, attendance and attainment, and their own passion for supporting square pegs and their families.

Our final speaker we are delighted to confirm to date is Martha Holder, Headteacher at Mulgrave Primary School, who will be joining us on 2nd July.
