November 2024
Dear Families,

We cannot quite believe we are already at the end of November! It was so lovely to see so many of you at our World Cafe. It was truly a spectacular showcase of the children’s D.T learning from Food Fortnight. The children were so articulate in sharing their DT learning and DT process they went through to achieve their final outcome! The dishes were also extremely tasty!
Each year our year 5 children take part in the Young London Print Prize and we are extremely pleased to share that Pema in year 5 won the award for the whole of London! This is a fantastic achievement out of over 1600 entries! Pema, her family and Ms Turner attended the awards ceremony in London to receive her award. We are also super proud of Anton Sakal who was overall winner for Foxfield. A huge thank you to Ms Turner for facilitating this print project for our children!
We would like to express our sincere thanks for your valuable contributions to the recent Relationship, Health Education policy consultation. Your feedback and insights were invaluable in shaping the final policy. The final policy can be found here. We have carefully considered all the suggestions and comments provided and have made necessary adjustments to the policy, where appropriate. To ensure transparency and shared understanding, we will be including the specific RHE topics covered in each term within our curriculum newsletters. Additionally, we will share relevant resources with parents when applicable. If you have further questions or concerns about the RHE policy or curriculum, please do not hesitate to contact our RHE subject lead, Mrs Garcha, through the school office to schedule an appointment.
Thank you once again for your active participation in this process. Your commitment to your child's education is greatly appreciated. A reminder that there has also been some key communication regarding our two week half term next October 2025 just before the half term break. Please ensure you have looked through this and do contact the office if you have any questions. Earlier this month, we shared with you all key dates relating to Christmas. Please find a copy here. Across the school children have been practicing their songs and they sound fantastic! Our Christmas Fayre will be held on Wednesday 11th December at 3.30 pm in both halls.
Have a lovely weekend!
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
With very best wishes, Megan Minnett, Tatum Sharp and all of the Foxfield team
