March 2026
Dear Families,
It is hard to believe we are already two-thirds of the way through the school year! The arrival of warmer weather and brighter mornings has brought a wonderful sense of optimism to Foxfield, especially as the daffodils begin to bloom. We were incredibly proud to host a RISE visit last week, welcoming school leaders from across the country to Foxfield. These visits are a prestigious opportunity for us to share best practices and observe high-quality teaching and learning in action. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive; visitors specifically noted that children were consistently engaged and focused, and that our purposeful lessons reflected a collective commitment to high expectations. They identified several strategies they intend to bring back to their own schools and this is testament to the hard work of all our children and staff.
Easter Bonnet Competition: We invite all students to showcase their creativity by crafting an Easter bonnet at home. Whether decorated with spring flowers, fluffy chicks, or festive eggs, we look forward to seeing these wonderful creations. Please ensure all bonnets are labelled with your child’s name and class. Hand them in to class teachers no later than Friday 23rd March 2026 .
Last week we held our second memorable experience of the year The Great Foxfield Bake-Off. It's was time to get creative in the and put those baking skills to the test last week! Each class will worked as a team to design, bake, and present one magnificent bake centered around a special theme. In the summer term we will be hosting the final memorable event of the year Foxfield's got Talent and we will share this with the children after the Easter break.
After Easter we will be having our assessments for the IQM Inclusion Quality Mark and National Nurturing Schools Award. Inviting the visitors in to see our wonderful school is testament to the dedication of our staff and the vibrant, inclusive community we have built together. We are incredibly proud to share the 'Foxfield Way' with our guests and to celebrate the high standards of care and ambition that ensure all our pupils feel they belong and are empowered to achieve their very best
As we reach the end of this final day of term, we want to wish you all a wonderful and restful break. We are already looking forward to our return on Monday, 13th April.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to approach us at the gates—we’re always happy to help!
With very best wishes, Megan Minnett, Tatum Sharp and all of the Foxfield team
