Dear Parents and Carers,

As we draw to the close of another successful academic year, we want to take a moment to celebrate our collective achievements as a school community. This past year has been filled with wonderful learning opportunities and milestones for our children. The summer term is always an exciting period, and it has truly felt like a non-stop celebration of all the incredible things our pupils can achieve. Our recent Foxfield Festival was a fantastic occasion that beautifully showcased our school community coming together, connecting and having fun.

What a fantastic year it has been. We are thrilled to celebrate a series of prestigious accolades that validate the incredible work taking place across our school every single day. This year, our dedication to fostering an inclusive, empowering environment has been recognised with the Rights Respecting Gold Award and our designation as an Inclusion Quality Mark Centre of Excellence. Furthermore, our commitment to the emotional wellbeing and unique needs of every child has been honored with the National Nurturing Schools Award and the Prem Aware Award, while our community impact earned us the Superkind Social Action School Award. Ultimately, the true heart of our success lies in our children. The academic and personal progress they have made this year is outstanding. Day in and day out, our pupils have lived and breathed our school values—demonstrating resilience, kindness, and a genuine passion for making a difference.

You should have recently received important communications outlining the arrangements for the upcoming year, including the official start dates. Please ensure you have reviewed these details and do not hesitate to reach out to the main office if you have any questions. You have also now been informed of your child's class teacher for the new school year and we were absolutely delighted to see the children's energy and enthusiasm during their initial transition meetings. You will have the opportunity to formally meet your child’s new class teacher this coming September during our ‘Meet the Teacher’ sessions. The specific dates for these sessions were shared in our recent letter, and we look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.

The Year 6 production of 'Aladdin' last week was truly exceptional. Over the past few weeks, our Year 6 pupils and their dedicated staff worked tirelessly to master their lines, songs, and choreography, resulting in a spectacular and memorable performance. The children beautifully embodied our core school values from the very first rehearsal to the final curtain call. As our Year 6 children prepare for the next stage of their educational journey, we extend our very best wishes to them as they close this chapter at Foxfield. We will miss them all immensely, but we know they are incredibly well-prepared to thrive in secondary school.

As we look ahead to the new school year, we also want to share some updates regarding our staffing team. We are saying a fond farewell to Ms Zein and Ms Ali, who are relocating to begin exciting new teaching chapters abroad, as well as Mr Power, who is leaving to pursue new interests outside of the education sector. We want to thank them all for their incredible dedication to our pupils and wish them the absolute best in their next adventures. Concurrently, we are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to our new staff members joining the Foxfield family this September, and we look forward to introducing them to you as we begin the upcoming term.
