December 2024
Dear Families,
It’s been a magical Christmas season at Foxfield! Thank you to all the parents who joined us for our nativities and carol concerts. The children worked tirelessly to learn their lines and songs, and we’re incredibly proud of their performances. The children enjoyed our annual Christmas dinner and they looked fantastic in their Christmas jumpers!
We’re also thrilled to share that we’ve achieved the Silver Attachment and Trauma Sensitive award. This recognition reflects our commitment to creating a nurturing and compassionate environment for all our children. We’re incredibly proud of the love, care, and support we provide to each child. As our Inclusion Leader, Mrs. Garcha, shared, “We’re so proud of the recognition of everything we do as a Foxfield family to meet the needs of our wonderful children.”
As the term draws to a close, we’re reflecting on the incredible achievements of our children. As part of our global curriculum, the children have gained valuable insights into sustainability, peace and conflict, social equity and justice, identity and diversity, human rights and power and governance. They have been engaged in discussions and research, helping them develop a well-rounded understanding of the theme across a variety of subject areas. The children all worked towards their Global Outcomes which is a celebration and showcase of their understanding and commitment to being a global citizen.
In January, we’ll be starting new units of learning and core texts. Remember, you can follow our daily learning on X @foxfield.
Wishing you all a peaceful and joyful break with your loved ones. We have been communicating with you this half term our new start and finish times from January: 8:50 am and 3:20 pm. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday 6th January 2024.
Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas break
With very best wishes, Megan Minnett, Tatum Sharp and all of the Foxfield team
