Curiosities of glee
Finn's death:
Cory Monteith, one of the protagonist died while glee was recording the season 5 in 2013, the dead of one of the principal characters were unexpected and the creator had to change the end of the tv series.
He died of an Overdose of drugs, Cory was found in his hotel room in Vancouver.
Kurt's character:
Kurt's character was written especially for Chris, Chris is one of the actors who protagonist the tv show, at first this actor had an audition for another paper, but the crew were so impressed by his talent that they decided to write up a new character for him.
Glee's name:
The series is called Glee for two reasons, firstly because a glee in a song is a track sung a cappella by at least two people, usually male (although there are exceptions). The second reason why Glee has that name is because of the Glee music groups or clubs, which historically were very popular in the UK.
Artie Abrams/Kevin McHale:
There is one character who goes on a wheelchair, but actually the actors who play this character doesn't go on a chair, so for the show, Kevin McHale had to learn how to drive a wheelchair and how to dance with one, also he had to be extremely careful because he couldn't move his legs at all.
