Albert Einstein was born on 14th March 1879, in Germany. He died in 1955.
In 1915, he introduced the General Theory of Relativity, which completely reformulated the concept of gravity.
With it was born cosmology, which is the Study of the origin and evolution of the universe. He discovered the light in 1919.
At that time he became a popular icon in science. He won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921 for his explanation of the photoelectric effect and for his numerous contributions to theoretical physics.
