Our tailored made ECA workshop program enables younger students to design, decorate and assemble their very own ukulele constrained only by the limits of their creativity! 

This is a wonderful Project Based Learning (PBL) opportunity for younger learners.

Target audience:

Creative Ukuleles is well suited for students from KG through primary and to secondary schools students. We have tailored courses to fit the different ages and abilities.  We also have the ability to tailor the course to fit the longer and shorter term lengths (6-10 hours etc). 

Since the project is completely flexible with regards to design and individual creativity, it is equally suited to girls and boys.

Leaders:

The project leaders are experienced in ukulele construction, finishing methods and are experienced educational practicioners with valid police checks.

Scope:

Ukulele construction is a multi-step process, therefore this project will span an entire term (typically 5-10 hours).

Course sessions can include:

• Designing

• Assembly

• Learning all of the different parts of the Ukelele

• Painting / Staining / Printing

• Learning How to Play

• Performing!

The end result? 

Each creation will be uniquely the result of each student’s imagination and creativity!
