Field grown dormant vines are available as both bench-grafted and own-rooted vines, grown in our outdoor nursery for one full season before being carefully dug, sorted for quality, trimmed & hot-water treated, bundled and kept dormant in our cold storage facility until your delivery request.

Green-potted vines, or “Greens”, are potted/containerized vines that have been grafted, greenhouse grown and properly acclimated prior to delivery.  The total production period is approximately 14-16 weeks, and vines are delivered in either green growing or dormant formats. “Greens” offer growers the option for a customized combination that can be ordered and delivered within the same calendar year. 

• An excellent option when field grown dormant vines are unavailable.

• Recommended for new plantings with drip irrigation 

• Delivered potted using biodegradable planting plugs with a slow release fertilizer

• Available in both Standard (12”) and Tall (24”) lengths

*The use of vine shelters (grow tubes) is recommended to limit transplant shock and smooth the greenhouse-to-field transition.
