Participants at AI@INGV Day will first and foremost find a concrete opportunity to connect with colleagues and groups already working on Artificial Intelligence within the Institute.
This will be a valuable moment to meet, share experiences, ideas, tools, and real-world use cases, with the goal of building an initial overview of existing expertise and ongoing projects.
They will also have the chance to engage with external experts to understand how other research institutions and organizations are approaching AI, what the main strategic directions are at the national level (such as INFN or ICSC) and international level (JRC), and what new opportunities for collaboration and funding are emerging.
In the afternoon, the focus will shift to the future with a panel session that will open a discussion on how to shape a structured initiative on AI at INGV.

Abstract Submission closed
Deadline: 23rd June 2025 (extended)
We welcome contributions in the form of short talks, posters, or demos on the wide topic of Artificial Intelligence.
Please note that there is no need to present new or groundbreaking results: the goal of the event is to share ongoing activities, tools, and use cases involving AI across INGV. Whether your work is at an early stage or already operational, this is an opportunity to make it visible and connect with others working in the field.
The deadline for submitting your contribution is extended to 23rd June 2025.
Submissions will be reviewed by the organizing committee, which will assign the presentation format based on the number of proposals received.
