Scoring training

Scoring training is required in order to administer and score the Speaking Domain of the ELPAC. Scoring training is a self-paced, online training where the test examiner will have the opportunity to view training presentations and practice scoring by taking calibration quizzes for each task type of the Speaking domain.

Follow the steps below to initiate self-paced online training.

STEP 1:

Scoring Training Account Registration

In order to access the scoring training presentations and quizzes, you must create an account.

  • Click here to create an account
  • Select "Create new account"

Create username and password, and provide the required information; click IUSD CDS Codes for your school's CDS Code

  • Check your email, activate the account by selecting the link provided in your email from "ELPAC Training Team" to confirm

STEP 2:

Security Affidavit

Important: Read the online Test Security Affidavit, scroll down to click on the bullet next to "I agree", and click "Save my choice". Login with username and password created from Step 1.

STEP 3:

Scoring Training by Grade Span

Note: Online Training Presentations are the same across grade levels. Calibration quizzes may be different across grade levels.
