Recommendation for Proposition A: $28,800,000
Grade Level Relocation:
Ingleside High School Grades 9-12
Leon Taylor Junior High Grades 6-8 (Grade 6 moving up from Blaschke-Sheldon Elementary)
Blaschke-Sheldon Elementary Becomes BSE Career Technical Center with a new state-of-the-art Welding Facility
Gilbert J. Mircovich Elementary Grades 3-5 (Grade 5 moving down from BSE)
Ingleside Primary School Grades PK-2 (Grade 2 moving down from GJM)
Leon Taylor Junior High
New addition will be added to Leon Taylor Junior High to increase the classroom count from 25 classrooms to 41 classrooms. The gym, dressing rooms, and cafeteria will also be extended and enlarged.
BSE Career Technical Center
The following classes currently held at Cook Annex will be relocated to BSE Career Technical Center:
Instrumentation Classes
Nursing Program
Ace Program (Credit Recovery)
DAEP Program (Disciplinary Alternative Education Program)
New Building that will expand and increase welding stations for the IISD Welding Program
Blaschke-Sheldon Elementary has a functioning cafeteria, multiple classrooms (15) for future growth of CTE (Career and Technical Education)
*OT Blaschke building would be demolished
Gilbert J. Mircovich Elementary
Additional canopies, an outdoor gym, and a new drop-off location drive located beside the school (facing 4th Street).
Recommendation for Proposition B: $3,200,000
Safety Lighting to be added to the Homeside Football Field Parking Lot
New bleachers and canopies for the softball field with dugout refurbishing and, update batting cage
Seating/bleacher additions and improvements for the baseball field, addition of canopies above the seating, batting cage update, and dugout refurbishing
Build new tennis courts (8) -- will be located next to the baseball field
New Baseball field Backstop and upgrades to the concession stand and restrooms
