The goal of the Sociology major is to provide students with the intellectual tools needed to analyze social phenomena theoretically and empirically. To that end, the curriculum provides a wide range of courses. During the first and second years of study students are trained in the basics of sociology and later students choose a specific area of sociology.

Anthropology is a discipline devoted to the study of human diversity. You can choose from a range of courses that approach anthropologically Food, Sexuality, Religion, Violence, Kinship, and other topics.

Media, Communication and Culture is divided into four fields, Media Studies, Communication, Translation and Interpretations, and Language and Society, which all share a common academic outlook.
