Short Bio: Célia Ghedini Ralha holds a Ph.D. from Leeds University, England (1996), an M.Sc. in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Aeronautics Institute of Technology – ITA (1990), Brazil, and a postdoctoral from the Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus, Germany (2012-2013). She is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science (retired), and a visiting professor at the Informatics Graduate Program at the University of Brasília, Brazil (2020-2022). She is a senior Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) member and has received a research productivity grant from the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development – CNPq (since 2015). She is an associate editor of Knowledge and Information Systems Journal, Springer (since 2021), and a member of the editorial board or reviewer of important journals from Elsevier: Environmental Modelling & Software, Cognitive Systems Research, Expert Systems with Applications, Data & Knowledge Engineering, Computers in Biology and Medicine, Journal of Cloud Computing (Springer), The Computer Journal (Oxford Press), Journal of Experimental & Theoretical Artificial Intelligence (Taylor & Francis). Her research interests include multi-agent systems and planning, knowledge-based systems, agent-based simulation, and intelligent systems applied to domains such as environmental management, cloud computing, and bioinformatics.

Short Bio: Luis Gustavo Nardin holds a M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Engineering from the University of São Paulo, Brazil (2009, 2015) and a postdoctoral from the University of Idaho, US (2015-2017). He is associate professor in Computer Science at Mines Saint-Etienne, France. He has been active in the domain of multi-agent systems (MAS), in particular normative multi-agent systems, for the past years. Currently his main research focus is the development of models, tools, and methodologies for the regulation of MAS. He also conducts research on agent-based simulation focused on understanding the impacts of social and human behaviors on the emergent properties of complex adaptive systems.

Short Bio: Graduated in Informatics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (1993), a Master's in Computing from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1997), and a Ph.D. in Computing from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2004). Sandwich doctoral internship at the Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble/France) from 2001 to 2002. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Santa Cruz do Sul, Santa Cruz do Sul, RS, in the Department of Computing and the Graduate Program in Industrial Systems and Processes - MSc. He has experience in the field of Computing, with an emphasis on Artificial Intelligence, working mainly on the following topics: Intelligent Tutoring Systems, Pedagogical Agents in Virtual Learning Systems, Knowledge Management, Multi-agent Systems, Artificial Neural Networks, Fuzzy Systems, Case-Based Reasoning Systems.
