Privacy Policy for Logicubes
Last updated: 25 September 2026
Effective date: 25 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how INDIE LEVEL STUDIO SAS ("Indie Level Studio", "we", "us") handles data when you play Logicubes (the "Game"), distributed on Google Play under the package name com.IndieLevelStudio.TestProject.
The Game is free to download. It is funded by advertising and by an optional purchase, the Premium Version, which removes ads and the attempts limit.
Logicubes does not have user accounts. We do not ask you to register, and we never ask for your name, e-mail address or a password. The only account involved is your own Google account, which you manage directly with Google.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Data controller: INDIE LEVEL STUDIO SAS
Registered address: Cra 48C #10 Sur-74, El Poblado, Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia
Contact e-mail: info@indielevelstudio.com
INDIE LEVEL STUDIO SAS is a company incorporated in Colombia. Personal data is processed under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 (Habeas Data) and, where the Game is offered to players in the European Union or the United Kingdom, under the GDPR and UK GDPR.
2. What data the Game handles
2.1 Data stored only on your device
Your game progress is saved locally on your device: levels completed, your best (lowest) number of actions per level, Qbits collected, characters unlocked, power-up inventory, and your settings (language, music and sound volume).
The attempts system and the Premium Version also keep their data on your device: how many attempts you have left, when the next one refills, how many extra attempts you have earned by watching ads, and whether you have the Premium Version.
This data never leaves your device unless you choose to sign in to Google Play Games (see below). It is deleted when you uninstall the Game.
2.2 Google Play Games Services (optional)
If you sign in to Google Play Games, the Game uses Google's Saved Games service to back up your progress so you can restore it on another device. The saved game also includes a marker showing whether you already had the Game when it was a paid title (see section 2.6). In that case:
- Google provides the Game with your Play Games player ID, an identifier Google assigns to your Play Games profile.
- Your saved progress is stored in your own Google account, not on our servers.
- We do not receive your name, e-mail address, Google password or any other detail of your Google account.
Signing in to Play Games is handled entirely by Google and is governed by the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and the Google Play Games Services terms (https://developers.google.com/games/services/terms).
We operate no game servers and hold no player database. Your progress lives on your device and, if you sign in, in your Google account.
2.3 Crash reports and technical diagnostics
We use Sentry to detect and fix crashes. When the Game crashes or reports an error, Sentry receives:
- Device model, operating system version, language and region settings
- Available memory, and whether the app was in the foreground
- The Game version and build number
- The technical stack trace of the error
- A random session identifier used to count how many sessions were affected
Sentry is configured not to attach your IP address or any other personally identifying information to these reports. We cannot use them to identify you, and we use them only to diagnose stability problems.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the Game working correctly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
2.4 Gameplay analytics (optional, off until you say yes)
The first time you play, we ask you to accept or decline gameplay analytics. Nothing described in this section happens unless you accept. If you accept, we use GameAnalytics (GameAnalytics ApS, Denmark) to understand how players move through the Game: which level you start, whether you complete it, restart it, or back out of it, which power-ups you use, and how long you play in a session.
When you accept, GameAnalytics receives:
- A randomly generated player identifier. It is not derived from your device's advertising identifier: we explicitly turn that off, so GameAnalytics never reads your GAID/AAID.
- The level you start, complete, restart, or leave without finishing
- Which power-ups you use, and in which level
- How you answer the Game's own prompts: whether the rating prompt and the reminder prompt (section 2.8) were shown and what you chose, whether you allowed notifications in Android's dialog, and which reminder, if any, you opened the Game from
- Free-to-play events: when you spend an attempt, when you run out of attempts, when you earn one by watching an ad, which type of ad was shown (interstitial or rewarded), whether you opened the Premium Version offer, and whether you started, completed or could not complete the purchase. These events contain no amounts, payment details or advertising identifiers.
- How long you played in that session
- Standard technical data: device model, operating system version, language and country
Turning it off, or asking for this data to be deleted. Open Settings in the Game - the "Sharing play data" toggle, next to the music and sound settings, turns analytics off at any time (this stops new data from being sent) and shows your GameAnalytics player ID. GameAnalytics has no self-service deletion tool, so if you want the data already collected about you deleted, send us that ID at info@indielevelstudio.com and we will forward the request to GameAnalytics on your behalf.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time as described above; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
2.5 Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game shows ads from Google AdMob, a Google service:
- Full-screen (interstitial) ads after you win a level, from level 6 onwards. They are shown during the loading screen that follows.
- Rewarded ads, only if you choose to watch one, to earn an extra attempt when you run out.
If you have the Premium Version (section 2.6), no ads are shown and the AdMob SDK is not started.
What Google collects. To show ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud, the AdMob SDK included in the Game collects the following and sends it directly to Google:
- Your device's advertising identifier (AAID/GAID). For this, the Game declares Android's AD_ID permission.
- Your IP address, from which Google may infer your approximate location (country or city)
- Device and app technical data: model, operating system, language, carrier and Game version
- Your interactions with ads: which ads are shown, whether you watch them to the end, and whether you tap them
- SDK diagnostic and performance data
We do not receive this data: Google only gives us aggregated reports on ad revenue and performance. Google processes it as a controller under its Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and how Google uses information from apps that use its services (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
Your consent and choices.
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland. Before showing ads, the Game shows Google's consent form (Google User Messaging Platform). There you choose whether you accept personalized ads and the use of your device to store and read information. If you do not accept, Google may show non-personalized or limited ads. You can change your choice at any time from the "Ad privacy" link on the main menu.
- United States. In states whose privacy laws require it, the same form lets you opt out of personalized ads.
- In any country, you can reset or delete your advertising identifier, or ask for it not to be used for personalized ads, in Android Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads, depending on the device).
Legal basis: your consent for personalized ads and for storing or reading information on your device (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and ePrivacy rules). For non-personalized ads and fraud prevention, our legitimate interest in funding a free Game (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
2.6 Premium Version, purchases and Google Play Pass
The Premium Version is an optional one-time in-app purchase that removes ads and the attempts limit. The purchase is made through Google Play Billing. Google tells us whether you own the Premium Version, along with the purchase's technical details (product, order ID and purchase token), so the Game can activate it and check it each time you open the Game. We receive no payment details: we never see your card number, billing address or any other payment information. Google's handling of your purchase is covered by the Google Payments Privacy Notice (https://payments.google.com/legaldocument?family=0.privacynotice).
If you subscribe to Google Play Pass, Google gives you the Premium Version at no extra cost while your subscription is active, and the Game checks this the same way.
Players of the paid version. If you were already playing Logicubes when it was a paid title, the Game gives you the Premium Version automatically. To do this, it checks on your device, or in your Play Games saved game, that your progress predates the free version. This check sends no data to us.
2.7 Content downloads
Part of the Game's content is delivered through Google Play Asset Delivery. When the Game downloads that content, Google processes the request exactly as it does any other Google Play download. This is handled entirely by Google Play and we receive no personal data from it.
2.8 Reminder notifications (optional)
If you allow it, the Game can remind you to come back when you have not played for a while. These reminders are created and scheduled on your own device; no server sends them. The Game does not use Firebase Cloud Messaging or any other push service, does not register your device for push notifications and does not create a push token.
- Asking first. The Game never asks at launch. After you complete a few levels, it shows its own screen explaining what it will send; only if you tap "Turn on" does Android show its permission dialog. If you decline, you are asked again at most once more.
- What is sent and when. When you leave the Game, up to three reminders are scheduled for 1, 3 and 7 days later, between 10:00 and 20:00 local time. Opening the Game cancels them all. If you do not come back after the third one, no more are sent. Nothing is scheduled once you have completed every level.
- What they contain. A short message inviting you to play, sometimes with the number of your next level, taken from the progress saved on your device. Reminders contain no advertising and no links.
- Nothing leaves your device. Scheduling a reminder does not send any data to us or to anyone else. If you accepted gameplay analytics (section 2.4), GameAnalytics records whether you allowed notifications and which reminder, if any, you opened the Game from.
- Device permissions. "Show notifications" (POST_NOTIFICATIONS), which you grant or deny in Android's dialog, and "run at startup" (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED), used only to re-create pending reminders after your device restarts.
Turning reminders off. Android Settings > Apps > Logicubes > Notifications, or long-press a reminder and turn it off. You can turn them back on from the same place.
Legal basis: your consent, given through Android's permission dialog (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time as described above.
3. What we do not do
To be explicit:
- We do not have user accounts. No registration, no e-mail address, no password.
- We do not run any server that stores your data.
- We do not receive your advertising identifier or the data AdMob collects. Google collects it to show the ads (section 2.5). GameAnalytics, even if you accept analytics, is configured to never read your advertising identifier.
- We do not show ads to players who have the Premium Version. Reminder notifications never contain advertising.
- We do not send push notifications from a server. Reminders are scheduled on your device and only if you allow them (section 2.8).
- We do not run gameplay analytics unless you say yes. It is off by default; see section 2.4 for what changes if you accept.
- We do not sell or rent your personal data.
- We do not profile you or track you ourselves. Ad personalization is done by Google, only with the consent requested in your region, and you can turn it off (section 2.5).
- We do not access your precise location, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera.
- We never see your payment details.

GameAnalytics is based in the EU; any transfer outside the EU/UK by its subprocessors is likewise covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long data is kept
- Progress, attempts and Premium status saved on your device: until you delete the Game's data or uninstall it.
- Progress saved to Google Play Games: held in your Google account, under your control, until you delete it.
- Scheduled reminder notifications: on your device only, until they are shown or cancelled (opening the Game cancels them).
- Crash reports: 90 days, then automatically deleted by Sentry.
- Gameplay analytics events (only if you accepted): retained by GameAnalytics for 12 months, then progressively aggregated/anonymized.
- Advertising data collected by AdMob: under Google's retention policies (https://policies.google.com/technologies/retention).
- Record of your purchase: kept by Google Play as part of your Google order history.
6. Your choices and rights
Deleting your local progress. Uninstall the Game, or clear its data in Android Settings > Apps > Logicubes > Storage > Clear data. If you have the Premium Version, you do not lose it: it is restored from Google Play when you open the Game again.
Deleting your Play Games saved data. This is stored in your Google account and only you control it. Open the Google Play Games app > Settings > Delete Play Games account & data, and choose to delete the data for Logicubes. You can also stop using Play Games in the Game at any time and keep playing with local saves only.
Crash reports. These carry no identifier that we can link to you, so we cannot retrieve or delete an individual person's crash reports. If you want to avoid sending them entirely, do not use the Game.
Gameplay analytics. Turn off the "Sharing play data" toggle in Settings anytime, and see your GameAnalytics player ID there. To have your existing analytics data deleted, send us that ID at info@indielevelstudio.com; we will not be able to locate it without that ID, since we hold no player database of our own.
Advertising. Change your consent from the "Ad privacy" link on the main menu, if it appears in your region. In any country, you can reset or delete your advertising identifier in Android settings. To access or delete the data Google holds about you, use your Google account tools (https://myaccount.google.com). The Premium Version removes all ads.
Reminder notifications. Turn them off in Android Settings > Apps > Logicubes > Notifications. Since they are scheduled on your device, uninstalling the Game or clearing its data also removes any pending reminder.
Depending on where you live, you also have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Write to info@indielevelstudio.com and we will respond within 30 days.
California and other US state residents. You have the rights given by the CCPA/CPRA and equivalent state laws. We do not sell personal information for money. When Google shows personalized ads, the use of your advertising identifier may count as "sharing" information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out from the "Ad privacy" link, if it appears, or from Android's ad settings.
Colombia. Under Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1074 of 2015, data subjects may know, update, rectify and delete their personal data, ask for proof of the authorisation given to us, be informed about the use we make of their data, and revoke that authorisation. Requests are made to info@indielevelstudio.com and are answered within the terms set by that law (10 business days for queries, 15 business days for complaints, extendable as the law provides). If you consider your rights have not been respected, you may file a complaint with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC).
7. Children's privacy
Logicubes is intended for adults (18 and over), as stated in its target audience on Google Play. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
The Game contains advertising and an optional in-app purchase. It has no accounts, no chat and no user-generated content. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has used the Game, contact us at info@indielevelstudio.com.
8. Security
All communication between the Game and the services listed above uses encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Because we hold no player database, there is no store of personal data on our side to breach.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, notify players inside the Game before the change takes effect.
The update of 25 September 2026 covers Logicubes becoming a free game: Google AdMob advertising (section 2.5), the Premium Version and in-app purchases (section 2.6), and the new free-to-play analytics events (section 2.4).
