Sardinia is served by three main civil airports. However, we highly recommend you to fly directly to the Cagliari "Elmas" Airport.

Getting to cagliari from Elmas airport

By Train

From the "Elmas Aeroporto" train station, conveniently located within a 5-minute walking distance from the airport arrivals hall, passengers can board any train with the destination of "Cagliari" for a brief 5-minute journey.

The train service operates from approximately 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with a frequency of approximately one train every 15-30 minutes, contingent upon the time of day. For detailed information on the train schedule, please refer to the timetable available at the following link:

IMPORTANT: You have the option to purchase the train ticket (1.30 EUR) either online through the provided link or directly from the ticket machines available at the train station. It is noteworthy that the ticket machines provide change.

By Taxi

You have the option to avail of taxi services conveniently located just outside the airport, situated in front of the "Arrivals" area. The fare for a journey from the Airport to Cagliari city center (or vice versa) typically ranges from 15 to 20 EUR.
