Programme

Due to the coronavirus outbreak the workshop is postponed to a date to be decided.

The PHISCC workshop will be held from the morning of May 11 to lunch time of May 13, 2020. Breakout sessions will follow from the afternoon of May 13 to May 15 full day. Both workshop program and breakout sessions will be announced around 1 February 2020.


Workshop sessions and invited speakers (11 - 13 May 2020)

The workshop will include the following sessions:

  • Environment : HI as a driver and tracer of galaxy transformation
  • Baryon cycle: gas flows, CGM, IGM, stellar and AGN feedback
  • HI at high z: absorption, stacking and lensing
  • Simulations : SAMs and hydrodynamical
  • Techniques : source finding, archives, visualisation, RFI mitigation, etc

Breakout sessions (13 - 15 May 2020)

We anticipate breakout sessions on many ongoing HI projects as well as on technical developments related to the HI surveys. Registrants are encouraged to propose breakout sessions they would like to organise. The full list of breakout sessions will be announced together with the final science program.
