Astrophysics PhD student
My name is Michele Costa and I am currently a PhD student at the University of Bologna, in Italy. I obtained my MsC in 2024 with a thesis on the the cold dust properties in Quasar host galaxies at Cosmic Dawn as revealed by ALMA and NOEMA.
My current research focuses on the observation and characterization of high-redshift (z>6) Quasars, their host galaxy and the large-scale environment they live in, as these outstanding sources may be beacons to track down the evolution of the most massive galaxies we observe in the present-day universe and that can be found at the center of galaxy clusters.
