Ivan Delvecchio

Staff Researcher at INAF - Osservatorio Astronomico di Brera, Milan (Italy)

Hello!

Since October 2020 I am a Staff Researcher at INAF-Osservatorio Astronomico di Brera, in Milan (Italy).

Earlier I was an Individual Marie Curie Fellow (2018-2020) at the Department of Astrophysics at CEA-Saclay (France).

Back in the period 2015-2018 I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Physics in Zagreb (Croatia), working with Prof. Vernesa Smolcic under the ERC Starting Grant project "CosMass"

I received my PhD in Astronomy from the University of Bologna, Italy (on December 12th, 2014), under the supervision of Prof. F. Pozzi (and co-supervision of Dr. C. Gruppioni, Dr. G. Zamorani and Prof. A. Cimatti), with a thesis entitled "Tracing AGN accretion and star formation in Herschel galaxies". I spent part of my PhD at the MPE, Garching, working in the group of Dr. D. Lutz.
